📋 Description

• Develop, enhance and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices in the pricing domain, ensuring performance and availability in production • Design and implement synchronous integrations (REST/OpenFeign) and distributed cache (Redis) between services in the pricing ecosystem • Write automated unit and integration tests, maintaining the required minimum coverage of ≥90% per class using JaCoCo • Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to Checkstyle, SpotBugs/FindSecBugs and Clean Code practices • Work across the full software lifecycle: requirement analysis, technical design, implementation, testing, deployment and post-release monitoring • Diagnose and resolve production incidents using troubleshooting, observability, structured logs and metrics, collaborating with related squads • Contribute to architectural decisions, including resilience, OpenAPI contract versioning and code quality with SonarQube • Document technical decisions, OpenAPI/Swagger endpoints and implemented business rules • Collaborate with Product, QA and other Engineering squads in technical discussions and backlog prioritization • Work with GitLab CI/CD pipelines, branching workflow and deployments in Kubernetes environments

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent proven experience • Strong experience in Java backend development • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot / Spring Cloud in production environments • Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems • Experience with automated testing (JUnit, Mockito) and a code quality culture • Java 17 • Spring Boot 3.x and Spring Cloud (Config, OpenFeign, OAuth2 Client, Circuit Breaker/Resilience4j) • Redis (distributed cache) • MapStruct, Lombok and Jackson • OpenAPI/Swagger (springdoc) and contract generation using openapi-generator • JUnit 5, Mockito and AssertJ • Maven • Docker and Kubernetes • GitLab CI/CD • SonarQube, Checkstyle and SpotBugs/FindSecBugs • Knowledge of Oracle/SQL for business data investigation • Experience in pricing, discounts or e-commerce/retail is desirable • Java (OCP) or Spring (VMware Spring Professional) certifications are a plus • Knowledge of observability and experience with feature flags are desirable • Clear communication, autonomy and ownership of end-to-end deliveries • Ability to propose and discuss architectural decisions with the team
