📋 Description

• Lead and execute the extraction of critical domains from the legacy monolithic system • Rebuild domains in a scalable, decoupled microservices architecture using Python (Medmax) • Architect and maintain AWS solutions focused on resilience, high availability, and cost efficiency • Use artificial intelligence tools such as Cursor and GitHub Copilot to accelerate development and optimize code • Design, develop, and evolve resilient, high-performance microservices using Python • Migrate business rules from the .NET monolith to the Python platform (Medmax) • Ensure asynchronous integrations via Kafka, RabbitMQ, and RESTful APIs • Apply and promote unit testing, integration testing, and cross-functional testing, including code reviews • Implement observability and monitoring with New Relic and OpenTelemetry • Prepare RFCs, ADRs, System Design diagrams, and BPMN workflows • Lead root cause analyses and conduct post-mortems during incidents • Share prompts, agents, and AI best practices with the team • Work across areas and squads, defining technical contracts and driving architectural decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience in Backend development with Python • Solid experience designing and building microservices-based architectures and decoupling monolithic systems • Practical experience with AWS or Azure cloud environments • Proficiency in event-driven architectures and Kafka and/or RabbitMQ messaging • Experience creating RESTful APIs • Practical experience with Cursor and GitHub Copilot • Strong focus on code quality, including unit and integration test coverage • Documentation culture, including RFCs, ADRs, and System Design • Knowledge and application of observability and APM tools such as New Relic, OpenTelemetry, and Datadog • High degree of autonomy, self-management, and proactivity • Knowledge of or previous experience with .NET/C# is a plus • Knowledge of security, Brazil’s LGPD, and the anonymization of personal data is a plus • Experience with large-scale projects focused on cloud cost efficiency is a plus
