📋 Description

• Serve as the technical Data Engineering point of contact for Credit, Collections, and international operations (individual and corporate customers) • Design and evolve complex batch and real-time ingestion pipelines • Develop APIs for data extraction, deployment, and integration with partner systems and risk bureaus • Maintain and develop credit pipelines, including credit limit increases and behavioral scoring • Work on expected loss and provisioning workflows • Monitor the delinquency funnel from 2 to 1,800 days throughout the collections journey • Build data ecosystems for Machine Learning models, analytical workflows, and risk engines • Monitor end-to-end operational health, ensure data quality, and conduct API stress testing • Apply FinOps practices and optimize computing costs • Use generative AI, Cursor or equivalent tools, prompt engineering, and requirements specification • Translate requirements between business areas and technical teams • Prepare technical documentation, trade-off analyses, and roadmaps • Work with Scrum/Kanban, strategic OKRs, and dynamic prioritization • Independently manage time and lead problem-solving efforts in critical scenarios

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Python and data engineering ecosystems and workflows • Proven experience in data and software architecture, building complex batch and real-time ingestion pipelines • Strong experience developing and deploying APIs for data integration between systems and partners • Knowledge and practical application of observability, telemetry, and API stress-testing practices • Familiarity with and practical use of generative AI tools for development, including vibe coding with Cursor or similar tools, as well as prompt engineering • Strong self-management skills, analytical thinking, agility, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business areas to align requirements • Preferred: experience in the financial sector, particularly in Credit, Collections, or Risk Bureaus • Preferred: experience integrating pipelines with Data Science and Machine Learning • Preferred: knowledge of FinOps culture and practices
