📋 Description

• Create new artwork and complete sets in Hadley Designs' established style across product lines • Draw original characters, motifs, patterns, and scenes in a cute, kid-friendly aesthetic • Turn the Chief Creative Officer's concepts into finished, production-ready product designs • Carry designs from initial handoff through final build-out • Own execution offload, including variations, full-set build-out, and file preparation • Prepare print and production files to spec • Build mockups and product previews for listings • Maintain on-style and on-brand consistency across product sets • Maintain the living style-reference • Provide occasional secondary ad-ops support, including A+ content, storefront updates, CMYK ad images, and revisions

🎯 Requirements

• Portfolio of original illustration work showing a cute, playful, kid-friendly or product-design sensibility • Working proficiency in Adobe Illustrator for native illustration • Ability to match and extend an existing art style • Ability to take written and verbal creative direction and turn it into finished work • Reliability on deadlines while managing several pieces at once • Experience preparing print / production files to spec (nice-to-have) • Familiarity with the children's, educational, or consumer-product space (nice-to-have) • Comfort with Notion, ClickUp, and file organization (nice-to-have) • Entry-level role; genuine illustration talent and interest in growing as a maker
