📋 Description

• Resolve patient and provider billing inquiries related to services provided • Audit patient balances and escalate accounts requiring adjustment • Update patient demographic and insurance information • Rebill claims when reviewing collection accounts • Generate and print patient statements and monitor the printing process • Process payments in client payment portals • Review bad-address and return-mail reports and update demographic information • Review collection reports and generate collection progression letters • Prepare accounts for collection agency distribution • Cross-train on team tasks to provide backup and continuity • Safeguard protected health information in accordance with HIPAA • Support department and company goals and policies • Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality • Escalate issues to the Patient Services Manager or Director • Perform other related duties as assigned
