📋 Description

• Deliver features end-to-end across the Synapse stack • Operate AI coding tools as a first-class part of the workflow • Contribute to HL7 v2 / FHIR / immunization data pipelines, including Kafka-based ingestion and Elasticsearch indexing • Instrument new work with structured logging, distributed tracing, and metrics • Debug across the Grafana / Tempo / Loki / Pyroscope observability stack • Handle PHI safely and flag security concerns during code review • Participate in code review, giving and receiving constructive feedback • Work independently on defined features and escalate blockers early • Drive small-to-medium initiatives from concept to completion • Troubleshoot across application code, databases, Kafka consumers, and Kubernetes deployment pipelines

🎯 Requirements

• Experience delivering features across React/Vite, Node.js/Express/Apollo GraphQL, MongoDB/Elasticsearch, and Kubernetes deployments • Experience with AI coding tools, agentic workflows, LLM-assisted code review, effective prompting, and evaluating AI-generated diffs • Knowledge of HL7 v2, FHIR, and immunization data pipelines • Experience with Kafka-based ingestion and Elasticsearch indexing • Experience with Pino structured logging, OpenTelemetry tracing, Prometheus metrics, and Grafana/Tempo/Loki/Pyroscope • Secure coding practices for PHI and PII-safe span attributes • Code review experience focused on correctness, security, and observability • Ability to work independently, escalate blockers, and drive small-to-medium initiatives • Experience troubleshooting application code, MongoDB/Elasticsearch, Kafka consumers, and Kubernetes/Helm/ArgoCD/Kargo pipelines
