• Provide sales coverage for the territory of SC, NC, VA, MD, DC, WV and NJ • Provide regular feedback of territory business climate to management • Identification of new business and maintain loyalty of existing customer base • Establish and maintain professional selling relationships across all levels of the customer’s organization • Plan and execute customer visits and presentations to promote HBK awareness and develop opportunities • Develop strategies to grow HBK’s presence in automotive, military, machinery, and other market segments • Technical understanding of key HBK products with ability to perform basic hardware and software demonstrations • Participate in regional trade shows and conferences to foster new opportunities • Develop and maintain sales forecast, coordinating closely with inside sales • Support marketing with application information and feedback • Diligently log sales activities and opportunities in Sales Force CRM • Network and prospect for new opportunities and contacts using social media
• ME or EE degree or other technical degree in an engineering or physical science discipline strongly preferred • Working knowledge and experience selling one or more of the following: acoustics, sound/vibration measurement, DAQ’s, test and measurement products, sensors • Must be self-motivated, organized and have the ability to handle numerous parallel tasks and projects • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Technical ability to learn diverse product line a must • Background in instrumentation, test or data acquisition, acoustics • Ability and experience in demonstrating technical products • Proven track record in sales with a minimum of 2 to 5 years of sales experience meeting or exceeding sales quota
