📋 Description

• Lead the design and development of robust high-performance, cloud-native backend systems using Go supporting real-time data processing and low-latency workflows • Drive engineering excellence through code quality, best practices, and mentorship • Use AI-assisted and agentic development workflows while owning code quality, correctness, performance, and maintainability • Collaborate with trading, product, and infrastructure teams to understand requirements and deliver performant solutions • Own production services, ensuring reliability, observability, performance tuning, stability, and security • Contribute to infrastructure automation and CI/CD improvements • Conduct code reviews, lead technical discussions, and influence engineering standards • Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines • Deploy and manage services using cloud-native tools and best practices • Monitor, debug, and troubleshoot production systems and participate in on-call incident response

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience building and supporting production-grade systems • 3+ years of professional experience building and operating production systems in Go, or deep professional backend engineering experience combined with agentic development workflows • Strong knowledge of concurrency, memory management, performance, and optimization • Experience leading large-scale system design and mentoring engineers • Proven experience designing and deploying microservice architectures in high-availability, high-throughput environments • Understanding of message queues, event-driven architectures, and asynchronous processing • Understanding of TCP, UDP, WSS, REST, and gRPC • Experience building and deploying cloud-native applications • Familiarity with Docker and ECS or Kubernetes • Proficiency with Kafka or Redpanda and distributed systems • Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, ClickHouse, or TimescaleDB • Nice-to-have knowledge of Rust, C++, or Python • Nice-to-have familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation • Nice-to-have experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure • Nice-to-have experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry • Nice-to-have background in crypto, high-frequency trading, or real-time market data systems • Nice-to-have knowledge of crypto exchange market data and order routing protocols • Nice-to-have open-source contributions or technical blog/portfolio
