📋 Description

• Drive technical sales activities for selected Tier 2 Service Provider customers in Italy • Work with customers to understand requirements and propose HPE solutions • Guide customers on how HPE products and solutions address business needs • Showcase HPE technologies through technical sales presentations, whiteboarding sessions, technology events, demonstrations, evaluations, and proofs of concept • Build and maintain trusted relationships with customer technical decision-makers and partners • Lead technical responses for RFPs and RFQs and build bills of materials for sales opportunities • Capture customer and industry requirements and trends for business units • Stay current on industry, competitive solutions, products, and services • Lead discussions on virtualization and automation through presentations and demonstrations • Collaborate with SE peers, Account Managers, and other organizational teams

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Sales/Presales • Fluent in English • Strong experience working with Service Provider networks in technical/pre-sales, Sales/Systems Engineer, or Network Architecture roles • Expert knowledge of routing technologies and protocols, including MPLS and SR • Experience in areas such as automation, cloud/data center, security, and network virtualization • Knowledge or strong interest in network automation and network virtualization • Knowledge of automation using Python, Ansible, Netconf YANG, JSON, or OpenConfig is desirable • Knowledge in Service Provider security is a plus • Understanding of Service Provider market trends and emerging use cases • Knowledge of HPE products and solutions is desirable • Knowledge of HPE competitors' products and services • Strong written, oral, and communication/presentation skills • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to varied audiences • Ability to learn quickly and apply skills in new areas • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities • Self-motivated team player able to work independently with minimal supervision • Bachelor's and/or master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience • Industry certifications such as JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE, CISSP, or CCIE are beneficial
