• Execute precision mechanical work in high-voltage electrical substations across diverse geographical regions • Conduct comprehensive equipment inspections and diagnostic assessments to prevent costly failures • Service and repair sophisticated transformer systems using advanced troubleshooting methodologies • Analyze complex technical data to develop optimal solutions for critical customer challenges • Operate state-of-the-art Vacuum Oil Processors (VOPs) and specialized oil handling equipment • Maintain detailed processing logs and provide technical support for transformer testing operations • Utilize cutting-edge software platforms for data management and site visit documentation • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement innovative maintenance strategies • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines
• High School Diploma/GED plus 2+ years of professional work experience in technical or mechanical fields • Valid driver's license with clean driving record and ability to travel up to 85% nationwide • Physical capability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform demanding tasks for extended periods • Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions for up to 12 hours daily • Class A CDL preferred for operating specialized service vehicles • Welding certification or experience preferred for enhanced field capabilities • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
