📋 Description

• Perform calculation and settlement of indirect taxes, focusing on ICMS, ICMS-ST, IPI, PIS and COFINS. • Prepare, review and submit tax compliance filings and ancillary tax obligations. • Execute Tax vs. Accounting reconciliations, ensuring consistency between tax calculations, filings and accounting records. • Review tax ledgers, analyzing CST, CFOP, tax classification and the nature of transactions. • Perform calculations for rate differentials, tax substitution and withholdings at source. • Analyze and record tax documents for purchases and sales. • Monitor changes in tax legislation and support correct application of tax rules. • Support internal and external audits and tax inspections. • Configure and validate tax rules in the ERP system. • Advise internal departments on tax procedures and the tax implications of operations. • Prepare controls, KPIs and reports for the tax department. • Monitor deadlines for submission of tax and ancillary filings.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related fields. • Previous experience in tax, preferably at a mid-level (pleno) position. • Experience with calculation of indirect taxes (ICMS, ICMS-ST, IPI, PIS and COFINS). • Knowledge of tax filings, tax legislation, CST and CFOP. • Experience with Tax vs. Accounting reconciliations and analysis of tax ledgers. • Knowledge of rate differentials, withholdings and tax transactions. • Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office. • Experience in trading or distribution companies is desirable.
