📋 Description

• Own day-to-day accounts payable, cost tracking and bookkeeping • Arrange timely payment of bills, accounts and supplier invoices • Check and verify incoming vendor bills, invoices and payment requests • Cross-check expenses against corresponding invoices to confirm billing accuracy • Maintain complete, accurate records of all financial transactions • Track operational costs, including labour, equipment and materials • Compare actual costs against company budgets and flag variances • Act as a key point of contact for vendor and general accounts queries • Communicate with suppliers and contractors on billing and payment schedules • Support the Head of Finance with ad-hoc reporting and bookkeeping • Follow company policies, procedures and Business Management System (BMS) standards • Report directly to the Head of Finance

🎯 Requirements

• Philippines-based candidate • 2+ years in accounts payable, bookkeeping or a similar accounts role • Strong computer literacy • MYOB or similar accounting software experience is a bonus • Exposure to the waste management industry is a plus • Exceptional attention to detail and accurate data entry • Clear, professional written and verbal English • Self-motivated, organised and confident working autonomously • Ability to align with AU business hours, approximately 9 AM–5 PM, Monday to Friday • Independent contractor engagement • Must disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work • Must reflect this engagement on LinkedIn profile as “Independent Contractor”
