📋 Description

• Build and implement AI agents and automations for accounting and administrative processes • Build billing automation that pulls reports from XPM, analyses data, and prepares draft client bills for review • Build email automation workflows that read incoming client emails and draft accurate responses for team review • Automate repetitive day-to-day processes based on team pain points and priorities • Connect AI tools and business systems through APIs and integrations • Monitor, troubleshoot, and refine automations for accuracy and reliability • Document workflows so the team can use and maintain them • Work with management and accountants to understand needs and identify automation opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience building and implementing AI agents and automations in a live business environment • Ability to build automations that pull and analyse XPM reports to prepare draft client bills • Ability to build automations that read incoming client emails and generate draft responses for review • Ability to automate repetitive day-to-day administrative processes • Hands-on experience with LLM tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Microsoft Copilot • Experience with automation platforms such as Make, Zapier, n8n, or Power Automate • Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and structured data • Strong research and problem-solving skills • Excellent written English and ability to explain technical solutions clearly to non-technical users • High attention to detail when working with financial and client data • Experience with Xero Practice Manager (XPM), Xero, or other accounting practice software (nice to have) • Experience supporting an Australian accounting or professional services firm (nice to have) • Experience with Microsoft 365 and Outlook automation (nice to have) • Must disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work • Must reflect this engagement on LinkedIn as “Independent Contractor”
