📋 Description

• Shape the technical architecture of digital solutions at the intersection of tax advisory, audit, and software development • Develop internal applications to automate and digitalize the firm, as well as digital products and services for clients • Take responsibility for the solution design and software architecture of new and existing applications • Design and develop solutions using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and Web APIs • Define architectural principles, interfaces, components, and data models • Select between modular applications, services, and integration solutions • Integrate internal and external systems via REST APIs and other interfaces • Further develop the GitLab-based development and delivery environment, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes • Analyze existing applications and system landscapes and develop modernization and migration strategies • Develop key components and prototypes hands-on and support code and architecture reviews • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and document architectural decisions • Use AI and LLM tools for requirements analysis, solution design, code generation, documentation, and test preparation • Evaluate AI-generated results for quality, security, maintainability, performance, and compliance

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in software development with C# and .NET, ideally in a senior, lead, or architecture role • Strong experience in solution design and the architecture of sophisticated software solutions • Excellent knowledge of C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, API and backend development • Experience with data modeling, system integration, and distributed systems • Practical experience with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, relational databases, and ORM technologies • Experience across the full software lifecycle—from analysis and development through automated testing to deployment and monitoring • Strong hands-on mentality and the ability to make pragmatic architectural decisions • High quality standards and experience with standards, reviews, automated testing, and security checks • Fluent German and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly • Experience with or an interest in AI-assisted software development, as well as the targeted direction and responsible validation of AI tools • Ideally, an interest in data-intensive or regulated processes, as well as finance, tax, and compliance
