📋 Description

• Lead transportation decarbonization studies for state, regional, and local government clients. • Support development of state Clean Fuel Standards, and related transportation policies. • Conduct quantitative analyses, scenario modeling, and market assessments for renewable fuels, electrification, hydrogen, sustainable aviation fuel, renewable diesel, renewable natural gas, and other low-carbon transportation technologies. • Analyze transportation emissions, fuel demand, fuel supply, technology adoption, and infrastructure needs. • Develop technical reports, policy memoranda, presentations, and regulatory support documents that clearly communicate complex technical findings. • Design and facilitate stakeholder engagement processes with government agencies, fuel suppliers, utilities, fleet operators, industry organizations, environmental groups, and other stakeholders. • Stay current on federal and state transportation decarbonization policies, renewable fuel markets, and emerging transportation technologies. • Support proposal development and business development activities.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, environmental science, transportation, economics, public policy, energy, or a related field • 5+ years of professional experience in transportation decarbonization, clean transportation policy, renewable fuels, transportation planning, or a related field • Experience with Clean Fuel Standards, Low Carbon Fuel Standards, renewable fuel markets, or similar transportation decarbonization policies • Experience conducting quantitative analysis, scenario modeling, or policy analysis • Project management and client facing experience.
