📋 Description

• Guide ICON project teams on clinical issues • Ensure studies adhere to the highest ethical principles and legal standards • Provide therapeutic and drug development expertise • Interact with sponsors and investigative sites on protocol medical issues • Contribute to investigator meeting presentations • Review study documentation • Oversee safety data reviews • Support Business Development efforts • Provide medical leadership and consultation • Provide operational management in the absence of senior management

🎯 Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) • Board Certification in Neurology • Minimum of 2 years in Clinical Research within academia, pharmaceutical, biotech, or other CRO industries • Significant medical affairs experience • Track record of building high-performing teams and delivering results • Ability to review and evaluate clinical data • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Proven track record of medical leadership and consultation within pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and ethical standards in clinical research • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to represent the department effectively • Demonstrated ability to provide operational management in the absence of senior management • Willingness to travel as required, approximately 10% • Legal right to work in the country where the role is based
