📋 Description

• Participate in regulatory proceedings in state utility commissions to advocate for policies that promote rules and procedures that facilitate fair and competitive deregulated energy markets and renewable energy • Take the lead in representing IGS in proceedings before public utilities commissions • Maintain compliance with the rules and regulations in the states in which IGS operates • Draft mass-market sales contracts and research laws and rules that relate to compliance issues • Assist in evaluating and advocating for legislation related to IGS's businesses • Research laws and rules that relate to IGS businesses including electric, natural gas, solar, and other renewable energy

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school • 6+ years of legal experience • Admitted to practice law in Ohio • Strong preference for candidates with experience working with energy law, utilities commissions, legislators and other regulatory bodies • Strong legal knowledge and expertise in energy, regulatory, and/or compliance • Research, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
