• Facilitate sales and marketing activities for the CRO Business Unit • Manage key accounts and solicit new business • Represent Indero as a brand ambassador at industry conferences and other events • Collaborate with the senior management team to define and develop revenue-growth strategies • Execute the agreed annual sales plan • Conduct sales activities across Europe and the Middle East • Meet or exceed revenue growth goals for assigned sales territories and the company • Provide sales forecasts and manage sales activity plans for assigned territories • Communicate Indero’s value proposition and service portfolio to medical key opinion leaders and prospective medical device, pharmaceutical, and biotech companies • Review and provide input on new project proposals and budgets • Identify and develop new service offerings, technologies, and business models • Assist in developing and assessing business and sales strategies • Conduct internal and external presentations for staff training and service-area marketing • Support company presence through scientific meetings, direct sales, and other events • Maintain technical knowledge of company services • Develop competitive pricing strategies and maximize operating surplus • Advise management on contract negotiations and pricing strategies • Assist with coordination of legally binding contracts, including preferred provider and non-disclosure agreements • Organize client visits, capabilities presentations, client meetings, direct sales, and bid defense presentations • Represent the company at conventions, symposia, and industry meetings • Manage budgets and contract negotiations with study sponsors • Evaluate and incorporate new services into Indero’s CRO Business Unit
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (business administration, sciences) • At least five (5) years of experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and/or contract research organization (CRO) industry, ideally in a business management, sales and/or marketing position • Confident, innovative, insightful, client and business focused service oriented professional with scientific knowledge of clinical drug and device research • Outstanding organizational skills • Ability to partner closely with business operations • Professionalism, ability to manage conflict and maintain confidentiality • Strong skills in leadership, interpersonal communication, motivation of staff and team-building • Ability to multi-task in a fast-moving environment while working calmly and thoughtfully towards solutions • Resourcefulness in setting priorities • Outstanding oral and written communication skills • Mastery of Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) • Solid network of industry contacts, particularly in dermatology and/or rheumatology CRO of Phase 1 through Phase 3 • Relevant previous experience in sales and marketing • Proven track record in achieving sales targets • Legally authorized to work in Europe
