📋 Description

• Own end-to-end delivery of Reporting and BI features from technical design through sprint execution to production • Drive architectural decisions for scalable, high-performance dashboards using Oracle, BI tools, Azure, and .NET/C# • Create proofs of concept, review pull requests, and actively contribute code • Champion and coach AI-first development practices using GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent tools • Shape the technical roadmap with Product • Conduct 1:1s, performance reviews, and growth conversations • Enforce engineering standards, code quality gates, branch policies, code freezes, and release protocols • Lead code reviews and architecture discussions • Translate complex data-reporting requirements into maintainable production software • Partner with Product, QA, DevOps, and Customer Success to deliver dependable enterprise releases

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent demonstrated engineering depth • 10+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing enterprise SaaS backend applications with deep database understanding • 2+ years of engineering team management experience • Architect/Principal-level expertise in relational databases, especially Oracle PL/SQL • Complex query optimization, stored procedures, performance tuning, and large-scale data handling • Very strong command of SQL and data modelling • Development-side Reporting/BI experience with Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar tools • Demonstrated day-to-day use of AI developer tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs using .NET/C# in distributed enterprise-scale systems • Strong grounding in Agile/Scrum delivery, sprint discipline, backlog ownership, and release management • Strong proficiency with Git, branching strategies, and CI/CD • Exceptional written and verbal communication • Financial domain application experience is a significant plus • Azure Cloud experience is a plus
