📋 Description

• Design and implement features end-to-end, from specification through testing, review, and deployment • Contribute to distributed ledger technology powering consequential market infrastructure • Maintain high standards for code quality, test coverage, and documentation • Collaborate within a globally distributed Agile team across time zones • Coordinate using asynchronous-first communication • Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of professional Scala experience • Strong command of functional programming patterns, including typeclasses, effect systems, immutability, and referential transparency • Strong grasp of the Scala type system, including implicits/givens and type inference • Ability to leverage the compiler for correctness guarantees • Solid understanding of distributed systems, including consensus mechanisms, fault tolerance, eventual consistency, and partition handling • Experience participating in architecture discussions and technical decision-making • Experience with gRPC, Protobuf, and service-oriented architectures • Experience with Canton and/or Daml is nice to have • Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences • High degree of autonomy, accountability, and ownership • Ability to provide constructive feedback during technical discussions
