📋 Description

• You will take overall responsibility for ongoing financial accounting together with our Head of Finance. • You will independently prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in DATEV. • You will manage and optimize our upstream systems (including easybill and Finway) and ensure smooth interfaces to DATEV. • You will continuously develop and standardize our accounting processes with a focus on digitization, efficiency and meaningful reporting. • You will monitor open items/accounts receivable and manage and optimize our dunning process. • You will work closely with our Head of Finance and act as a point of contact for auditors, tax advisors and internal departments. • You will prepare financial reports and analyze relevant KPIs as a basis for management and executive decision-making. • In the future, you may take on technical/team leadership responsibilities in Accounting.

🎯 Requirements

• You have completed commercial/business training, e.g., as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellte), or further qualification as a certified balance sheet accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter IHK). • You bring several years of professional experience in financial accounting, ideally in a digitally oriented mid-sized company or a scale-up. • You have very good knowledge of DATEV and experience working with upstream systems such as easybill, Finway or comparable tools. • You are familiar with the German principles of proper accounting (Grundsätze ordnungsmäßiger Buchführung, GoB) and routinely and independently prepare monthly and annual financial statements. • You are proficient in MS Excel and enjoy optimizing processes and actively driving digitization. • You work in a structured, independent and precise manner and demonstrate a high level of reliability. • You communicate clearly, enjoy working in a team and are willing to take on technical responsibility in the future.
