📋 Description

• Develop and maintain software for Embedded Linux platforms • Build, customize and maintain Linux distributions using Yocto / BitBake • Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across application, operating system and hardware layers • Contribute to system integration, software deployment and platform customization • Design, develop and maintain software components in C++ • Participate in technical design and architecture discussions • Analyze technical requirements and propose effective solutions • Collaborate with hardware and cross-functional engineering teams • Take ownership of technical topics and drive them independently • Support continuous improvement of software quality, reliability and maintainability

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience in Embedded Linux development • Experience building and customizing Embedded Linux distributions using Yocto • Strong commercial experience with C++ • Experience debugging and resolving complex system-level issues • Ability to work across software, operating system and hardware layers • Good English communication skills • Commercial experience with MQTT (strong advantage) • Experience with OTA / Firmware Update solutions (strong advantage) • Knowledge of Secure Boot and device security concepts (strong advantage) • Experience with Device Tree (strong advantage) • Experience with Kernel configuration and/or BSP customization (strong advantage) • Experience with ARM-based platforms (strong advantage) • Python scripting and automation (nice to have) • Experience with Connected Devices, IoT products, Smart Appliances, or Consumer Electronics (nice to have) • Understanding of software architecture and design principles (nice to have) • Experience working in international product development teams (nice to have) • CI/CD for Embedded Linux environments (nice to have)
