📋 Description

• Monitor the availability, performance, and capacity of critical network assets, links, and services • Lead the analysis and correlation of alarms, events, metrics, and indicators, especially during high-impact or complex incidents • Conduct technical triage, diagnosis, and escalation, identifying likely causes, impacts, priorities, and containment actions • Perform advanced troubleshooting of connectivity, infrastructure, data collection, and monitoring services • Design, configure, and maintain hosts, templates, items, preprocessing, triggers, macros, discovery rules, actions, event correlation, and maps in Zabbix • Create, standardize, and enhance dashboards, variables, data sources, transformations, and alerts in Grafana • Investigate and resolve data collection failures via SNMP, ICMP, agents, Syslog, APIs, proxies, and other integration methods • Define and review thresholds, dependencies, severities, and suppression rules, reducing noise and improving alarm accuracy • Analyze capacity and availability trends, anticipating risks, saturation, and performance degradation • Conduct root cause analyses and problem management, proposing corrective and preventive actions • Ensure clear records, escalations, and technical communications while adhering to SLAs and defined workflows • Serve as a technical reference for less experienced analysts through reviews, guidance, and knowledge sharing • Define standards, document procedures and solutions, and contribute to the roadmap for advancing monitoring and NOC operations

🎯 Requirements

• Solid, proven experience in monitoring, infrastructure, or NOC operations, including work with critical incidents and high-availability environments • Practical expertise with Zabbix and Grafana, including configuration, troubleshooting, and the evolution of production environments • Advanced experience with Zabbix in production environments • Strong knowledge of distributed architecture, proxies, templates, items, preprocessing, LLD, triggers, dependencies, event correlation, macros, and actions • Advanced experience with Grafana, including data sources, variables, transformations, alerts, and the development of executive and operational dashboards • Knowledge of monitoring protocols and methods such as SNMPv2c, ICMP, agents, Syslog, APIs, and webhooks • Solid knowledge of TCP/IP networking, addressing, DNS, VLANs, switching, routing, latency, packet loss, and availability • Ability to interpret metrics and correlate events, trends, and capacity indicators • Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as ping, traceroute, MTR, dig, curl, and tcpdump • Knowledge of Linux for analyzing services, logs, processes, resources, and integration failures • Experience with incident and problem management, technical escalation, SLA management, and shift-based operations • Experience in the NOC of internet service providers, carriers, or telecommunications companies is a plus • Knowledge of switches, routers, firewalls, servers, links, OLTs, BRAS/BNGs, and CGNATs is a plus • Experience with high availability, performance, proxies, and databases in Zabbix environments is a plus • Knowledge of Prometheus, InfluxDB, or Elastic Stack is a plus • Certifications in Zabbix, Grafana, networking, and Linux are a plus • Portuguese indicated in the job application
