📋 Description

• Design the cognitive engine architecture, from the API input payload through to the output JSON • Build specialized prompts with chain-of-thought reasoning, anti-hallucination guardrails, and JSON Schema • Implement multimodal analysis with Gemini, including OCR and computer vision for documents, structured field extraction, and inconsistency detection • Structure RAG with semantic chunking, metadata by coverage/clause/limit, embeddings, hybrid search, and reranking • Use historical cases to calibrate the model through few-shot learning, including edge cases • Create an evaluation framework with automated test suites, accuracy, precision, and recall benchmarks, and regression testing • Monitor inference quality, cost, and latency; implement LLM observability and prompt versioning • Validate results with business analysts

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced Python and REST APIs (FastAPI or similar) • Hands-on experience with LLMs in production, including prompt engineering, structured JSON Schema output, function calling, and anti-hallucination techniques • Proven experience with RAG, including embeddings, vector databases (pgvector, Vertex AI Vector Search, Pinecone, Qdrant, or similar), chunking, reranking, and retrieval evaluation • Experience with multimodal models (preferably Gemini) and OCR/computer vision for documents and images • LLM evaluation methodology, including golden sets, accuracy/precision/recall metrics, and regression testing • Familiarity with Databricks (notebooks, MLflow, Delta Lake) and AWS to collaborate with data engineering • Git, coding best practices, and automated testing • Nice to have: Google Cloud / Vertex AI (Gemini API); LangChain, LlamaIndex, or LangGraph; Ragas, DeepEval, or LangSmith; experience with insurance, claims, claims adjustment, or legal and contractual documents; MLflow; Brazil’s LGPD and data anonymization; LLM guardrails and red teaming; certifications in Databricks, Google Cloud, or AI
