📋 Description

• Lead and guide project teams of business and IT professionals implementing small/medium-size solutions • Support larger, more complex projects under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager or Program Manager • Mentor Project Management subordinates and develop their project skills and capabilities • Agree project scope and costs with stakeholders • Coordinate business requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder approval • Prepare project plans and implementation schedules • Conduct internal and vendor inquiries for technology and information systems solutions • Coordinate RFI/RFPs with third parties, project teams, and internal IT procurement • Provide regular stakeholder and project sponsor reports covering status, milestones, risks, and issues • Identify potential problems and implement alternative solutions • Serve as escalation point for project risks and issues • Guide team activities through leadership and support • Independently manage medium-risk projects and multiple projects simultaneously • Recommend, prepare, and conduct training • Manage change control processes and overall project execution • Maintain working relationships with customers and vendors • Ensure adherence to IT and department policies, processes, and procedures • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of experience, or Masters + 3 years of related experience, or PhD without experience • SAP experience required • Experience managing small/medium-size IT projects • Ability to support larger, more complex projects under a Senior Project Manager or Program Manager • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Knowledge of Project Management Body of Knowledge® and its nine areas of knowledge • Experience gathering, documenting, and obtaining approval for business requirements • Experience preparing project plans and implementation schedules • Experience with RFI/RFP coordination and IT procurement • Experience with project risk, issue, change control, and stakeholder management • Ability to recommend, prepare, and conduct training
