📋 Description

• Understand features that drive vehicle prices and predict future values • Build and deploy advanced AI/ML and classical regression models • Conduct advanced model evaluation and optimization • Document machine learning processes • Lead and manage complex end-to-end data science projects • Collaborate with technology and engineering teams to improve processes and build new ones • Work with the product team to develop analytics powering new products • Apply advanced feature engineering and AI/ML model-building expertise • Use Python/R and SQL for advanced data manipulation • Apply in-depth knowledge of Snowflake and other machine learning frameworks • Create visual reports in Tableau for internal and external clients • Share ideas within the team to build predictive algorithms • Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and reporting • Deploy machine learning processes into production on AWS and develop monitoring tools

🎯 Requirements

• At least 8 years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 6 years with a Graduate degree • 4+ years of working with large datasets • 4+ years of working with statistical programming software; Python/Spark preferred, R and SAS are a strong plus • 4+ years of working with database software such as MS SQL, Snowflake, or MySQL • Ability to communicate technical processes to a lay audience • Presentation experience • Curiosity and passion for solving problems with data • Experience with automotive market data preferred • Professional expertise deploying cloud-based ML Ops systems preferred • Experience using Claude in ML or Data Science projects preferred • Shareable examples of data visualizations preferred • Experience deploying machine learning models into production with an API preferred • PhD in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or a related field preferred
