📋 Description

• Research JLL’s core, peripheral, and adjacent-market competitors using traditional and unconventional sources • Design questionnaires and interview guides for expert interviews and primary research • Synthesize company and competitor research into executive-level deliverables using strategic frameworks • Brief leadership on competitor activity and strategic implications • Collaborate with Corporate Strategy stakeholders and teams across JLL • Tackle complex problems and drive quantitative rigor in decision-making • Support broader strategy projects involving competitive and industry research • Support the competitive intelligence lead on primary research and interviews • Identify potential M&A targets and strategic partners • Analyze the impact of competitors’ acquisitions or partnerships • Build lists of peers and competitors through desk research, expert interviews, and databases • Participate in Corporate Strategy and JLL team check-ins and learning opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• At least 7–10 years of experience in strategy, market research, competitive intelligence, or consulting at a top-tier firm • Proficiency in market sizing, trend analysis, sector studies, white space analysis, competitive intelligence, value chain analysis, business model development, M&A, product/service benchmarking, market mapping, GTM strategy, and business case studies • Experience and/or strong interest in real estate and technology industries is a plus • Experience working in multinationals or global business experience • Proficiency with leading research databases including PitchBook, D&B Hoovers, Cap IQ, Preqin, AlphaSense, and Factiva • Familiarity with real estate databases such as MSCI RCA, Oxford Economics Construction, and Verdantix is highly desirable • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, computer science, or a related field • Excellent research, problem-solving, analytical, written, verbal, and presentation skills • Ability to interpret and synthesize large amounts of data from multiple sources into actionable recommendations • Ability to manage multiple projects independently while maintaining high-quality deliverables • Ability to work with a globally distributed team and remote management • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint • Experience in Excel modelling • Ability to work under pressure and meet fixed deadlines • Ability to adapt to frequently changing priorities • Day shift availability from 11 am to 8 pm IST, with flexibility for late-evening calls based on project or team requirements
