📋 Description

• Serve as the primary SET representative for the region and partner with the Global SET Lead and Regional Sector Leads / Group Leaders • Translate global compliance strategy, governance, and priorities into regional execution roadmaps • Advise regional leadership on prioritization, sequencing, and capacity trade-offs • Prepare and support regional leadership forums for timely, risk-aligned decisions • Integrate risk intelligence across markets, functions, and initiatives • Maintain a continuous view of regional risk posture using monitoring outputs, control performance, external signals, and business context • Identify systemic risks, cross-market trends, and second-order impacts • Frame risks in terms of business impact, control effectiveness, and decision implications • Escalate material and emerging risks through Global SET using decision-ready narratives • Synthesize regional inputs into concise, decision-ready insights and provide context and “so-what” analysis • Partner with Global SET and Data & Analytics to represent regional insights accurately in enterprise views • Provide regional oversight across compliance initiatives and the 10 hallmarks • Sequence and govern initiatives to support risk-based execution • Monitor progress, dependencies, and delivery risk; escalate when interventions are needed • Ensure reporting focuses on impact, outcomes, and risk movement • Lead regional continuous improvement aligned with global HCC transformation priorities • Anticipate downstream impacts and support adoption of new ways of working • Represent the region in Global SET forums and maintain alignment with enterprise standards • Collaborate with Compliance Performance Centers on expertise, best practices, and complex compliance challenges • Identify cross-regional themes, tensions, and opportunities for scale

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or related field required • 10 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or legal functions • 5+ years in senior leadership within complex, multinational organizations • Strong expertise in compliance frameworks, due diligence, monitoring, operational risk management, and compliance technology and analytics • Proven leadership of multicultural teams • Strong senior-level stakeholder engagement and project delivery capabilities • High ethical standards, integrity, and accountability aligned with C.E.O leadership principles • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex topics into clear, actionable insights • Strategic, analytical, resilient, and adaptable mindset • Fluent in English • MBA, JD, or LLM preferred • Professional certifications such as CCEP, CCEP-I, CIA, or CFE strongly preferred • Additional regional languages a plus
