Joko simplifies the purchasing experience, ensuring that members never pay more than necessary for their purchases while accumulating rewards quickly.

📋 Description

• Own the reliability, timeliness, and completeness of Joko's financial information • Own the monthly and annual closing calendar • Hold the external accounting partner and auditors to a high standard • Ensure the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement are accurate and delivered on time • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment runs, and collections • Lead the international accounting build-out for new entities and markets • Build the IFRS consolidation framework • Own cash management, including reconciliation, yield optimization, and day-to-day treasury • Serve as the main point of contact for banking and accounting partners • Interface with auditors as Joko scales toward IPO readiness • Strengthen and document financial processes and controls • Work with a BizOps partner to automate reporting and reconciliation • Report directly to the VP Finance

🎯 Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience • Strong foundation in accounting or audit, preferably Big 4 or equivalent • Ideally, in-house experience in a scale-up • Master's degree from a top business school • Double degree in accounting (DCG/DSCG) is a plus • Deep understanding of French GAAP • Knowledge of treasury fundamentals • Experience or interest in building a multi-entity, multi-country accounting backbone • IFRS exposure is a plus • Ability to manage stakeholders and hold internal and external partners accountable • Root-cause problem-solving ability • Current daily use of AI tools and enthusiasm for automating reporting and reconciliation • Fluent French and English
