📋 Description

• Prepare science manuscripts in Microsoft Word, including converting from .doc to .docx and removing formatting errors • Convert .docx files to HTML code using Python scripts • Transfer manuscript text into digital publication tools for release • Add appropriate HTML and CSS tags so articles display properly on the web • Prepare manuscript graphics for proper sizing and web display • Cross-check author, institution, and reference information for errors • Work with character entities, especially science-related Greek characters, to ensure proper display • Format, validate, and correct XML manuscript versions for submission to PubMed Central

🎯 Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree • Experience working with HTML and CSS is mandatory, including nested lists, tables, and inline/block elements • Skilled with handling Python execution • Understanding of XML structure and usage is required • Experience using image editing and formatting techniques • Knowledge of HTML entities, mathematical notations, and Greek characters is preferred • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills • Excellent customer service skills • Quick learner with effective problem-solving skills and ability to find solutions to new and complex issues • Detail oriented, organized, and able to track multiple projects and issues independently • Experience with the Microsoft Office environment • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
