• Provide expert legal counsel on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters • Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts and agreements • Manage mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence processes and transaction documentation • Advise on intellectual property rights and protection strategies • Ensure compliance with Indian corporate laws and regulations • Collaborate with internal departments to mitigate legal risks and resolve disputes • Stay up-to-date with changes in corporate law and implement necessary adjustments to company policies • Represent the company in legal proceedings and negotiations when required
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school • Valid license to practice law in India and membership in the Bar Council of India • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, and compliance • Strong knowledge of Indian corporate laws and regulations • Expertise in corporate law, securities law, intellectual property law, and employment law • Excellent legal research and writing skills • Strong verbal and written communication abilities • Proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills • Proficiency in contract drafting and review • In-depth understanding of corporate governance principles • Experience with legal software and databases • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced corporate environment • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • We need only 8+ experienced candidates
