📋 Description

• Independently plan and perform corrective and preventive maintenance on complex electronic intrusion detection systems • Serve as an expert in video systems, access control, RADAR perimeter security, intrusion detection, mass notification equipment, and communication networks • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on intrusion detection and surveillance systems from various manufacturers • Recommend solutions to design problems • Perform system tests and analyze results • Modify equipment or installations to improve performance • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen • Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance • High School diploma or equivalent • Minimum of eight years hands-on experience in the field of electronics • Must have or be able to obtain IAT Level 1 certification within 9 months of hire • Experience must include operational, maintenance and team lead work assignments • Ability to climb ladders up to 8 feet in height and safely ascend/descend as needed • Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing approximately 25-40 pounds • Comfortable performing tasks in overhead work positions for extended periods • Previous Intrusion Detection System experience desired • Working knowledge of AMAG alarm monitoring and access control systems • Working knowledge of DMP alarm monitor and reporting systems • Working knowledge of FLIR RADARs and cameras • Working knowledge of Genetec NVRs • Working knowledge of Pelco cameras, DVRs, and video switchers • Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols, network hubs, switchers, and server connectivity • Working knowledge of Windows Servers • Working knowledge of Cisco Switches • Working knowledge of fiber communication equipment • Working knowledge of WAVES MNS • MS Server, Windows, and/or Tower Climber certifications are a plus but not required
