📋 Description

• The Instructional Designer will be responsible for editing and designing digital ELA curriculum products within the Kiddom platform, as well as developing supplemental resources. • The ideal candidate will ensure that both teacher- and student-facing content are optimized for our digital platform. • This role reports directly to the Head of Curriculum. • We’re looking for someone with a background in K-12 ELA teaching, instructional design, project management, and a strong willingness to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of K–12 ELA classroom teaching experience (upper elementary or secondary preferred) • 3+ years of instructional design experience focused on ELA and digital learning • Strong understanding of ELA standards such as Common Core or state-specific benchmarks • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects • Passion for equitable education and empathy for the needs of teachers and students • Proficient in using Generative AI tools to enhance instructional design and content development workflows. • Experienced with project management platforms such as JIRA and Monday.com to track tasks, timelines, and team collaboration. • Skilled in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) for creating, organizing, and sharing curriculum and project documentation.
