📋 Description

• Serve as the critical bridge between complex regulatory business needs, including the TAI Reinsurance for Annuity System, and robust, scalable technical implementations • Act as the primary bridge between business units, IT teams, and external product vendors • Translate complex financial business processes and integration needs into clear, actionable functional and non-functional requirements • Provide expert design recommendations and own system blueprints for projects and enhancements • Maintain the enterprise integration catalog • Support rigorous testing efforts • Create comprehensive application and system documentation across the organization • Document solutions in partnership with key stakeholders and application support teams to support institutional growth and system stability • Drive modernization and evolution of core Annuity, Life Reinsurance, and Portfolio Account Management (PAM) solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field • 5–10 years of professional IT experience with a strong background in complex enterprise systems • Proven track record in technical analysis and integration projects, ideally within the Financial Services domain (Reinsurance/Life Insurance) • Deep experience with Microsoft SQL Server, advanced SQL querying, database programming, and ETL processes; SSIS/SSRS preferred • Experience utilizing both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, including strong skills in defining user stories • Experience with cloud environments; AWS desired and Azure experience a plus • 3+ years of experience in modern web development frameworks, particularly .NET Framework (preferred) • Familiarity with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), EAI, and/or large-scale integration platforms like Informatica (preferred) • Knowledge of web-application server configuration (IIS, JBoss) and CI/CD pipelines (preferred) • Ability to drive consensus and manage competing needs between technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical executive audiences • Proactive, resourceful approach and ability to drive projects forward without constant oversight • Capability to analyze ambiguous, large-scale business and technical problems and formulate innovative, practical solutions • High attention to detail when translating requirements into structured data models and functional specifications • Results-oriented mindset with ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks • Strong self-starter mentality and ability to anticipate roadblocks and deliver high-quality solutions under pressure
