📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data lakes and lakehouses using Apache Iceberg and AWS-native services • Develop streaming and batch data pipelines for large-scale, high-velocity data from multiple sources • Build the real-time ingestion layer using Kafka or similar technologies • Optimize and maintain AWS-based infrastructure, including Redshift and surrounding services • Define and implement best practices for data quality, governance, monitoring, and reliability • Partner with engineering, analytics, and business teams to deliver scalable data solutions for AI/ML, fraud detection, and regulatory reporting • Take ownership of projects, work independently, and help guide the direction of the data platform • Shape how data is ingested, stored, processed, and consumed across the company

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field • Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer, with a track record of building large-scale data platforms • Hands-on experience building data lakes/lakehouses with frameworks such as Apache Iceberg • Strong skills in SQL, Python, and Git • Deep experience with AWS cloud services, including S3, Glue, Redshift, and Athena • Experience with streaming technologies like Kafka, RisingWave, or Flink • Familiarity with data orchestration tools such as dbt, Mage.ai, Airflow, or Dagster • Advanced English communication skills • Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment • Experience in Terraform for infrastructure as code is desirable • Experience working with Kubernetes is desirable
