📋 Description

• Design and develop comprehensive eLearning content (courses, games, simulators and assessments) using AI tools for content generation, visualization, and interactivity to integrate with the Learning Management System (LMS) • Implement online andragogy, instructional design, and adult learning principles while leveraging AI capabilities to enhance content creation and delivery • Utilize AI writing tools (like KnowBe4 AIPortal, ChatGPT, Claude) to draft course scripts, scenarios, assessments, and learning activities • Practice effective interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work with different levels within the organization, to build relationships, to actively listen, and to assist team members and/or subject matter experts (SME) in translating concepts (including AI-generated content) into engaging, effective online courses. • Develop storyboards in a standard format that strategically incorporate AI-created content components and respond promptly to feedback from Q/A and leadership • Use AI tools to assist in developing sound knowledge checks for formative assessment, as well as strong summative assessments • Stay current with emerging AI technologies relevant to eLearning development • Possess effective communication skills: written (including editing and proof-reading), verbal, and presentation (including visuals), including the ability to articulate how AI enhances instructional content • Possess the ability and experience to effectively utilize the required technology tools (MS Word, Gmail, Basic HTML/JavaScript) alongside AI content creation tools and platforms • Evaluate AI-generated content for quality, accuracy, and alignment with learning objectives that abide by copyright and intellectual property considerations before integration into courses • Document best practices; research and recommend improvements to AI content creation workflows to enhance quality and efficiency • Create templates and frameworks that can be consistently applied when using AI writing tools and assist publishers in utilizing them

🎯 Requirements

• B.A. or B.S in Adult Education, Cybersecurity, Information Technology (or comparable work experience) required • M.S. or M.A. or M.Ed. in Instructional Design or Instructional Technology (or comparable work experience) preferred • Minimum 2 years experience with the instructional design best practices (storyboard development for online) • Minimum 2 years experience with creating complex assessment items for formative and summative purposes • Minimum 2 years experience with making engaging and interesting online courseware (preferably in a corporate environment) • Experience with Web Accessibility Standards (Section 508 & WCAG 2.1) • Experience with learning solutions for iOS, iBooks, Android, and other interactive media/mobile platforms and programming • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in learning/online learning • Creative problem-solving, adaptability, and willingness to learn new AI tools • Experience with AI tools (ie...ElevenLabs, Google Veo 3, HeyGen, Synthesia Midjourney AI, RunwayML, etc.) • Ability to balance efficiency of AI tools with pedagogical effectiveness • Critical thinking to evaluate AI outputs for educational appropriateness • Top notch Communication skills, verbal & written • Ability to learn and apply new tools, techniques and processes quickly • Great listening skills to work with subject matter experts (SME) and other team members to incorporate their ideas and feedback • Terrific problem solver in general and as it applies to designing effective courseware for adult learners operating in a world of distractions • Works well with others in a fast-paced, collaborative environment • First rate skills at time and priority management • Effective self-editor (although you will work with a Q/A team) • Familiarity with and interest in current communications and visual design principles and how they apply to adult learners • Understanding of concepts of gamification and how to employ them in online learning • General understanding of UI/UX needs of accessibility and how it applies to adult learners • Curious, innovative, and creative • Ability to write assessment & knowledge check questions to reinforce learning & ensure retention / ability to apply learned material • Build and organize effective prompt libraries for consistent results from AI tools • Ability to prompt, create and integrate AI-generated elements seamlessly with human-created content • Knowledge of best practices for AI content creation and curation in instructional design • Adaptability and openness to evolving AI capabilities and applications in eLearning
