📋 Description

• Serve as the primary territory lead covering RIAs in WI, MN, ND, SD, IA, IN, MI, and IL • Own the distribution strategy and execution to meet or exceed gross and net sales targets across the territory • Proactively build and maintain meaningful, long-term relationships with clients • Act as a subject matter expert on Lazard’s investment platforms, conducting high-impact in-person meetings, portfolio reviews, and technical presentations to influence advisor asset allocation • Identify high-potential prospects and "key decision-makers" to close complex sales and secure platform placements • Manage and mentor your Internal partner to ensure seamless territory coverage, effective lead generation, and optimized travel schedules • Serve as an ambassador for the Lazard brand, embodying the firm’s intellectual capital and entrepreneurial culture.

🎯 Requirements

• 7–10+ years of successful sales and distribution experience within the financial services industry, specifically within the RIA channel • FINRA Series 7 and 63 or 65 required • Deep fluency in capital markets, macro-economic trends, and the technical mechanics of separate accounts, ETFs, and alternative investment structures • Exceptional executive presence with the ability to articulate complex investment strategies to sophisticated advisors and institutional-caliber clients • Highly organized with the ability to manage a vast geographic territory, utilizing CRM tools (Salesforce) to drive data-driven sales decisions • Advanced professional certifications such as the CFA, CIMA, AAMS, or CFP are highly desirable and viewed as a differentiator.
