📋 Description

• Manage complex activities independently, meeting deadlines and agreed commitments • Clearly document processes, requirements, and projects developed by the data governance team • Demonstrate commitment to the company’s and department’s goals and OKRs • Create data governance procedures, standards, policies, and related processes • Establish processes and monitor data governance initiatives • Develop and deliver data governance training and promote a data-driven culture • Lead the definition and optimization of data governance processes in alignment with technical teams • Manage metadata, the data catalog, data quality, and master data • Identify and track improvements to the data catalog tool in collaboration with technical teams • Support the implementation of Data Quality in transactional systems and on the data platform • Participate in the team’s Agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban), use ServiceNow, and communicate activities, risks, and impediments • Coordinate with technical departments, business teams, and strategic areas • Support workshops and training sessions aimed at advancing data maturity

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with data catalog and data management tools: GCP DataPlex and OpenMetadata are essential • Hands-on experience with Data Governance processes, such as metadata management and enablement, data quality, data stewardship, and MDM • Knowledge of data lineage, data access management, data discovery, and data incident management • General knowledge of data ingestion processes • Experience with data migration projects to the cloud is desirable; experience with GCP is a plus • Project management experience is desirable • Knowledge of Power BI is a plus, including the ability to define the visualization requirements for department metrics • Intermediate SQL skills are a plus, including the ability to extract, transform, and analyze data • Intermediate Python experience is a plus
