📋 Description

• Create, review, and implement data and AI governance policies, standards, and procedures. • Monitor regulations such as Brazil’s LGPD and the GDPR, incorporating their guidelines into the organization’s practices. • Establish data protection and privacy practices, as well as sanctions for security breaches. • Conduct periodic audits, identify gaps, and propose action plans. • Prepare reports on the state of data governance and define an improvement roadmap. • Coordinate committees and working groups to align data guidelines and policies. • Provide training and support to employees on governance practices and the responsible use of AI. • Collaborate with architecture, development, legal, compliance, and information security teams. • Manage the data lifecycle, ensuring data integrity and alignment with corporate strategy. • Establish data domains and keep the data catalog and metadata dictionary up to date. • Assess and organize the analytics ecosystem, defining standards for data retention, deletion, and sanitization. • Create and implement processes for data acquisition, validation, and standardization from the source onward. • Monitor data quality using specific metrics, rules, certifications, and indicators. • Define roles and responsibilities such as data owner and data steward. • Promote a culture of accountability in the use of data and AI across the organization. • Integrate with the Data & AI Governance team, ensuring the safe, ethical, compliant, and strategic use of data and artificial intelligence.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field. • Experience with privacy and data protection regulations, including Brazil’s LGPD and the GDPR. • Experience with governance frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK, FAIR, DCAM, or similar frameworks. • Knowledge of Big Data technologies, such as Hadoop and Spark, as well as SQL and NoSQL databases. • Familiarity with ETL tools, data warehouses, and cloud computing platforms, preferably AWS. • Knowledge of data visualization tools. • Ability to solve complex problems, make informed decisions, and manage multiple priorities. • Strong ability to collaborate with multiple areas of the organization. • Certifications such as CDMP, DCAM, or certifications related to data governance and compliance are preferred and considered a plus. • Previous experience with responsible AI and algorithmic risks is preferred and considered a plus. • Experience in highly regulated environments or organizations with complex data structures is preferred and considered a plus.
