📋 Description

• Work at a Brazilian technology company that helps organizations overcome complex challenges and accelerate their digital transformation • Define and implement Data Governance policies, processes, and standards • Structure and monitor the Data Governance framework, roles, and responsibilities • Define Data Owners, Data Stewards, and Data Custodians • Create and maintain the data catalog, business glossary, and data dictionary • Support Data Quality initiatives by establishing metrics, rules, and improvement plans • Define and track governance and data quality metrics and KPIs • Manage metadata, data lineage, and data classification • Ensure compliance with security and privacy policies and LGPD • Collaborate with business areas, Technology, Information Security, and Data & Analytics teams • Identify risks related to data usage and quality and propose mitigation plans • Support audits and data-related compliance initiatives • Participate in defining processes for data lifecycle management • Promote a governance culture and best practices for data use across the organization

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience in Data Governance • Knowledge of Data Quality, Data Catalog, Metadata Management, and Data Lineage concepts • Experience defining governance policies, processes, and models • Knowledge of LGPD and data privacy • Experience interacting with business and technology teams • Knowledge of data architecture and ecosystems • Ability to act strategically and in a consultative manner • Good communication skills and ability to align with diverse stakeholders • Preferred: experience with Governance/Data Catalog tools such as Collibra, Alation, Informatica, Microsoft Purview, or similar • Preferred: knowledge of frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK • Preferred: experience with Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) • Preferred: knowledge of SQL and database concepts • Preferred: experience with Data & Analytics projects • Preferred: certifications in Data Governance, Data Management, or related areas
