📋 Description

• Point of contact and advisor for management and customers regarding the Warehouse Management System (WMS), supporting projects and new requirements • Independently manage tender processes and implement new WMS projects from planning through evaluation • Analyze existing processes, define business and technical requirements, and continuously enhance the warehouse management system • Plan, manage, and monitor WMS projects, taking into account timelines, resources, and achievement of objectives • Coordinate interfaces between logistics and software partners and ensure smooth information flow • Perform data analyses to identify optimization opportunities and develop innovative solutions to increase efficiency and quality

🎯 Requirements

• Solid (2+) professional experience as an IT project manager/employee in the WMS area—ideally within logistics service providers • Completed vocational training, e.g., as a Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Clerk (Kaufmann/-frau für Spedition und Logistikdienstleistung) or a similar qualification is an advantage • In addition to remote work, willingness to regularly provide on-site support at project locations • Knowledge of logistics and an understanding of how operational processes—especially logistics and warehouse processes—are supported by systems • Experience in analyzing, optimizing, and implementing warehouse management systems • Experience with databases and SQL queries is desirable • Experience with the LFS V8 Warehouse Management System from Ehrhardt & Partner is an advantage • Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, initiative, and team spirit
