• Build productive, trusted relationships with clients nationwide • Provide expert health & welfare benefits compliance guidance • Handle 12-15 compliance questions daily via our helpline (via phone or email), ensuring a consistent 24-hour turnaround • Develop and present webinars, live trainings and seminars month • Compose timely compliance articles on a bi-weekly basis • Develop content for compliance-related tools and resources • Monitor legislation, regulations, and guidance to stay ahead of industry changes • Serve as an internal subject matter expert and support product development • Mentor and coach colleagues to strengthen team expertise and capacity • Collaborate to improve team workflows, processes, and client-facing deliverables • Travel occasionally for client presentations, conferences, or internal team events (estimated approximately 2-3 times per year)
• 2-5+ years of experience in employee benefits compliance consulting • Mastery level experience with IRS, DOL and CMS regulations • Juris Doctorate (JD) preferred • Knowledge of ERISA, COBRA, ACA, §125, MHPAEA, HIPAA and related rules • Ability to distill complex federal and state regulatory information into clear written and verbal guidance • Strong consulting, analytical and business acumen • Exceptional communication and presentation skills • Demonstrated customer-service orientation • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment • Experience with compliance research tools (e.g., Thomson Reuter’s EBIA Checkpoint Library & Westlaw Advantage)
