📋 Description

• Write advanced, highly optimised SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyse complex datasets • Partner with Data Engineering and Data Science to build dbt models with modular, tested, documented business and clinical logic • Participate in migration from legacy cubes and spreadsheets to Snowflake cloud data warehouse environments • Own end-to-end design and delivery of executive-ready dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or Sigma • Implement audit and unit-testing processes to ensure report accuracy • Translate complex business and clinical questions into underlying data logic • Deliver plain-English logic flowcharts, data output samples, or dashboard wireframes for strategic refinement • Communicate technical data constraints clearly to non-technical stakeholders and protect timelines from scope creep

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or intelligence reporting • Expert-level SQL, including complex queries, joins, and window functions across relational databases • Proven experience building intuitive, scalable dashboard suites; Tableau, Power BI, or Sigma highly preferred • Direct experience with Snowflake and dbt, or ability and willingness to rapidly self-teach them • Strong documentation practices, including data dictionaries and wikis • Comfortable working across the Google Stack and Slack-driven communication • Tertiary degree or diploma in Statistics and Computer Sciences, Social Sciences/Humanities, Sociology, Health Sciences, Data Analytics, Science, Data Science, Finance, or Business Management • Knowledge of SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, and Tableau or Sigma • Ability to develop SSAS cubes in SQL Server, including Tabular models • Excellent knowledge of SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers • Willingness to adapt to changing data infrastructure and participate in peer reviews • Reliable backup power supply and strong, stable Wi-Fi for remote work • Flexibility to attend meetings outside standard local working hours occasionally
