📋 Description

• Build and operate distributed C# and .NET microservices on Azure • Work within an event-driven architecture at significant scale • Own services end-to-end from idea through implementation and deployment into production and iteration • Design for idempotency, retries, out-of-order events, and failure modes • Use observability tools, logs, traces, and metrics to understand production behaviour • Experiment with AI tools, agents, and workflows and share effective practices • Apply automated tests, SLOs, alerting, observability, and deployment safeguards • Participate in on-call operations and use incidents to improve platform resilience • Collaborate with distributed teams across UK, Europe, and Africa

🎯 Requirements

• Strong grasp of C# and .NET development • Experience with event-driven systems and messaging technologies such as Azure Service Bus, Kafka, or RabbitMQ • Microservices architecture experience, ideally on Azure and Kubernetes • Experience using observability tooling such as Grafana and Application Insights • Comfort using AI tools in daily engineering workflows, including design, code review, testing, and incident investigation • DevOps culture mindset, including on-call and production ownership • Proven ability to collaborate effectively in distributed teams across time zones • Continuous learning mindset and openness to feedback • Successful candidates must undergo pre-employment background checks, including criminal records, identification verification, academic qualifications, employment dates, and employer references
