📋 Description

• Own the ordering process for finished goods, components, packaging, and POS materials—from order recommendation and approval through to goods receipt • Manage manufacturers in Asia and Europe through order confirmation, production, pre-shipment quality inspection, and shipping documentation • Escalate delays early and develop proposed solutions • Measure supplier performance using a scorecard covering on-time delivery, quality, and response time • Identify deviations before they become problems • Maintain bills of materials, specifications, and item data • Coordinate advance payments and due dates with Finance • Ensure suppliers provide complete certificates and compliance documentation • Continuously improve procurement processes, standards, controls, and automation • Use tools and AI to reduce manual work • Convert monthly sales and inventory planning into on-time, complete, and quality-compliant purchase orders • Report directly to the COO

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience in operational procurement with manufacturers in Asia • Ideally, experience working for a consumer goods brand supplying the retail trade • Ability to identify and prevent ordering errors before purchase orders are sent • Confident and persistent supplier management across time zones • Independent and proactive working style • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets • Fluency in German • Very good command of English • Ideally, experience with components in the beauty, cosmetics, or FMCG sectors, such as packaging and applicators • Ideally, experience with ERP and/or supply planning, including PO workflows and master data • Ideally, experience with pre-shipment inspections and/or QC service providers
