📋 Description

• Responsible for all regulatory processes and ensuring compliance with all relevant cosmetic, product safety, trade and environmental regulations. • Ensure legally compliant product labeling and compliant communication across packaging, marketing materials, retail channels and digital touchpoints. • Advise internal stakeholders on regulatory, product safety and compliance issues and provide well-founded recommendations for action. • Manage and coordinate external partners such as regulatory consultancies, testing laboratories and legal advisors. • Monitor regulatory developments and translate new requirements into concrete measures for product, retail and marketing teams; support cross-functional teams across the entire product lifecycle — from product development to market launch.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in Regulatory Affairs, ideally within the cosmetics, beauty, FMCG or consumer goods sector. • Solid knowledge of the EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009 and other relevant regulatory requirements for the European market. • Experience reviewing and approving product labels, claims, packaging and marketing communications. • Familiarity with environmental, packaging and waste regulatory requirements and ideally experience with the compliance requirements of large retailers such as dm, Rossmann or comparable retail partners. • Experience working with suppliers, testing laboratories and external partners and ensuring regulatory compliance along the supply chain. • Structured working style, able to manage multiple topics in parallel and maintain an overview even with complex regulatory issues. • Proven ability to collaborate successfully with different departments, communicate regulatory requirements clearly and develop pragmatic solutions for complex challenges. • Able to work independently, anticipate needs, make well-informed decisions and demonstrate high accuracy and attention to detail. • Native-level German and negotiation-level/business-fluent English.
