📋 Description

• Partner with a cross functional team and manage a portfolio of customers to drive growth and retention. • Bring a strong track record of growth and deep relationship building experience to provide exceptional client service, uncover revenue generating opportunities (upsell, cross-sell, etc) and viable solutions to these key customers. • Proactively uncover the business needs of your customers to understand how our product offerings can grow their business. • Revenue Overachiever: Chart a path to ambitious growth targets and hit them. • Strategic Connector: Support cross-functional efforts and love connecting people and ideas to drive innovation and revenue growth. • Ensure partnership and programs are running smoothly and successfully. • Add strategic value to the team by identifying opportunities to drive business and process improvements. • Develop and deliver high-impact presentations (QBRs, Executive Briefing Decks, etc.). • Perform in-depth analysis to identify macro, business, technology, and pipeline trends for key customers.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of Account Management experience in the Payments industry, ideally selling complex, technology platform solutions. • 3+ years of experience growing and scaling accounts and building relationships with key decision makers. • 3+ years of experience with the following Sales Tech stack: Salesforce, Looker, Gong, and Jira. • Demonstrated ability to influence others in a matrix environment, gaining buy-in at multiple levels across the organization. • Positive attitude, team player, adaptable, resourceful, and self-starter who is able operate both collaboratively and independently. • Technical aptitude with demonstrated ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts in a straightforward manner. • FinTech Guru: You already have deep knowledge of disruption in the financial services industry or possess a strong desire to learn the ropes while working with the top innovators in the space. • Curious Questioner: Your passion for knowledge and learning drives you to constantly dig deeper to understand your customers, Marqeta, our technology, and the industry in general. • Thoughtful Challenger: As a trusted partner leading with insights, you push yourself, the team, and your customers to think outside of the box and find creative solutions to strategic challenges.
