📋 Description

• Build and maintain enterprise dashboards and reports in Power BI using governed enterprise data • Deliver end-to-end reporting solutions from requirements confirmation through production support • Develop, automate, and run user-friendly dashboards and reports • Handle report operations, refreshes, and defect resolution for the enterprise BI layer • Build and improve Microsoft Tabular semantic models and metric definitions • Implement enrichment metric calculations and segment classifications for central dashboards • Assist with logical and physical data modeling in partnership with Data Engineers • Apply consistency and quality checks to metrics and semantic models before release • Test and validate dashboard and report data accuracy and integrity • Monitor automated ETL and BI processes for successes and failures • Conduct root cause analysis for dashboard, model, and data delivery issues • Provide technical support and troubleshooting to BI end users • Collaborate with end users to identify needs and improve data management and delivery • Partner with Data Engineering and BI Developer teams on pipelines, models, and metric definitions • Train and support end users on BI tools, dashboards, and reports • Document dashboard purpose, metric definitions, data sources, and refresh dependencies • Follow documentation standards and contribute metadata to the enterprise catalog

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field; equivalent professional experience considered • Proven experience as a BI Developer, BI Analyst, or similar role, with demonstrated delivery of enterprise BI solutions • Experience delivering end-to-end reporting solutions from requirements through production support • Advanced hands-on expertise with Power BI, including Tabular models, DAX, and semantic modeling • Strong understanding of medallion architecture (bronze / silver / gold) • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric • Advanced SQL / T-SQL, including queries, stored procedures, functions, DDL, and DML • Working knowledge of ETL/ELT patterns, including Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SSIS, or equivalent • Working knowledge of the Azure data stack • Strong proficiency with data modeling, including ERDs, workflow diagrams, and dimensional (Kimball) modeling • Working knowledge of data types, normalization, data quality analysis, and efficient BI modeling • Understanding of data governance, security, and access for enterprise BI and certified data sources • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Excellent written and verbal communication • Willingness to learn modern BI and analytics tools • Collaboration with Data Engineers, BI Developers, and end users • Broadband availability of at least 30 MBPS; only national providers such as Jio, Tata, Airtel, or Hathway Fiber are acceptable • Quiet, dedicated home office space accommodating two monitors and one laptop • Must ensure safe and secure setup and usage of company IT assets • Preferred: retail, consumer goods, or manufacturing analytics experience; retail metrics knowledge; Python, PowerShell, or other scripting; Databricks Unity Catalog, data lineage, observability, DataOps, BIOps, Agile, or Kanban familiarity
