📋 Description

• Prepare monthly financial statements, semiannual reviewed financials, and annual financials under IFRS for overseas branches • Perform centralized accounting functions and prepare related MIS for MB Overseas branches • Prepare and present information to external auditors and regulatory authorities • Prepare monthly financial reports for senior management, including variance analysis • Identify deviations through comprehensive monthly variance analysis • Support implementation and upgrades of systems, test new products, review product details, and prepare accounting entries • Review outstanding items in Sundries Accounts, follow up and escalate for settlement or write-off approvals, and take corrective action • Review opportunities for MIS automation and test new or upgraded systems • Establish accounting procedures for new overseas branches • Maintain and update SOPs for overseas accounting and reporting • Coordinate opening or modification of GLs in Flexcube • Maintain current GL mapping in OFSAA

🎯 Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or ACCA qualification • Over 4 years of experience in financial reporting and accounting • Strong knowledge of IFRS and its application • Proficiency in computer accounting software and core banking systems
