📋 Description

• Maintain and improve AWS infrastructure, Linux environments, and internal applications • Support infrastructure provisioning, containerised workloads, CI/CD pipelines, and application deployments using modern DevOps practices • Perform infrastructure maintenance and security patching • Handle internal IT support requests, including troubleshooting, account provisioning, access management, and connectivity issues • Investigate infrastructure and application incidents, contribute to root cause analysis, and implement fixes • Administer Google Workspace, Atlassian Cloud, Slack, and Microsoft 365, including configurations, permissions, integrations, and the full user lifecycle • Build scripts, integrations, and automated workflows to reduce repetitive work across IT support, cloud infrastructure, and business systems • Implement and maintain security controls; support vulnerability remediation, access reviews, security monitoring, and ISO 27001-aligned compliance activities • Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and infrastructure records according to change management procedures • Identify and deliver cloud and SaaS cost-saving opportunities • Work closely with the IT team while balancing engineering projects and day-to-day operations

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Systems Administration, or a similar role • Strong hands-on AWS experience, including IAM, EC2, VPC, S3, and other core services • Experience with Linux administration, troubleshooting, and security patching • Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern application deployment practices • Scripting and automation experience in Python, Bash, or similar languages • Experience administering SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Atlassian Cloud, or Slack • A solid understanding of identity and access management, security best practices, and least-privilege principles • Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2 • Confidence troubleshooting infrastructure, applications, and end-user technical issues, and happy to handle IT support alongside engineering work • Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a small technical team • Valid work visa required; sponsorship is not available • Proof of incorporation and up-to-date insurance required for contractors • Bonus: Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform • Bonus: Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS EKS • Bonus: Experience developing or maintaining internal applications and services • Bonus: GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD platforms • Bonus: PostgreSQL or other relational databases • Bonus: Automation and integration platforms such as n8n • Bonus: Monitoring, logging, and observability tools • Bonus: Vulnerability management and technical security controls • Bonus: Understanding of FinOps principles and cloud cost optimisation
